What are the Different HGV licence types available to me?
Transcript
In the UK there are three main types of HGV licenses. Category C, Category C + E and Category C1.
Category C1 is perfect for paramedics and horsebox drivers. It allows you to drive vehicles weighing between three and a half tonnes and seven and a half tonnes.
If you’re looking to drive rigid trucks like delivery lorries or refuse collection vehicles weighing over seven and a half tonnes but no more than 32 tonnes, Category C – also known as Class 2 – is the way to go.
For those seeking to handle articulated lorries with separate cabs and trailers enabling larger loads and long-haul journeys, Category C + E – or Class 1 – is the license for this.
To fast track your progress our program combines category C and C + E licenses, allowing you to acquire both in just seven days and unlocking an earning potential of up to fifty thousand pounds a year.
