A HIAB is a truck mounted crane which is used to expertly manoeuvre heavy loads with precision and ease.
To become a HIAB driver you will need to pass a HIAB course. This includes a practical and theoretical assessment and is usually a 2 day course.
A HIAB licence needs to be refreshed every 5 years.
The average HIAB salary is around £5000 more than your standard Class 2 Driver
