Frequently Asked Questions
The Category C license is the entry level license into becoming a professional driver of Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs). This particular vehicle is very easy to drive, and handles in a similar way to a larger car or van.
Also known as Artic, Class 1 and Wagon & Drag. Popular for UK and international distribution. Higher earning potential, less drops.
The combined back to back course covers both the ‘C’ and ‘C+E’ licences allowing you to train to be a Cat C+E driver in as short a timeframe as possible. You can also save money by taking both the courses as a back to back combined option.
Driver CPC training is a legal requirement, which develops HGV Drivers’ skills and knowledge. If you drive for professional reasons it is very likely you will need to complete 35 hours of periodic training every five years. You could face fines of up to £1k for driving professionally without it.
