Pallet network Palletways has struck a deal with continental breads maker Beauchamp Foods to handle its warehousing and distribution.
Palletways Fulfilment, the network's centrally owned warehousing arm, will use its 100,000ft² facility at Fradley Park in Staffordshire, to store, process and provide a pick and pack service.
It will then distribute Beauchamp's goods nationwide via its network to retailers and wholesalers.
Iain Fergus, MD of Beauchamp, says: “As our products are perishable, we needed a logistics provider capable of handling a very fast turnover product with strict use-by-dates and Palletways Fulfilment provided the ideal situation."
In December Palletways Fufilment struck a deal with White Horse Energy to handle its warehousing and distribution.
