| Job Description : | Applicants must be qualified and competent in the operation of a Hiab vehicle. A class 1 or 2 driving licence is essential for this role whilst possession of a New Roads & Streetworks ticket would be advantageous. Applicants must also be able to demonstrate a flexible attitude to working, as the nature of the work will involve a 'standby rota' and working within pipelaying crews when required. Previous experience of working for a utility contractor or a civil engineering company would be advantageous. This post is temporary for nine months (with the possibility of becoming permanent at the end of this period) and full-time working 47½ hours per week. |
